Born in England, Julia Cooper grew up in the wildlife filming industry and was completely immersed in wildlife and its portrayal. Julia has completed an Honours degree and worked on numerous popular BBC wildlife programs. After moving to North Queensland several years ago, Julia quickly developed an excellent knowledge of Australia's tropical wildlife. With her passion for all things great and small, Julia is a key wildlife advocate for the region and has the ability to explain complex biological processes in a simple, uncomplicated way. Martin and Julia own and operate a wildlife education and interpretation business based in Cairns called Wild about Australia.
Originally from England, Tim Parker became an Australian citizen in 2000 and took up residence in Far North Queensland where he has established a very successful graphic design business. Pembroke Graphics specialises in interpretive maps, guides and publications for the tourism and conservation sectors. He has worked for the Queensland Heritage Trails Network, Wet Tropics Management Authority and Australian Rainforest Foundation, as well as private eco-tourism businesses.
