Robinson moth traps are the most popular choice among serious entomologists - a robust design with excellent retention rates. This trap is well suited
to use at permanent sites (with 240V supply) left unattended overnight but can also be used in the field with a generator.
60W (2 x 30W)
actinic electrics offer catch rates about 40% lower than mercury vapour bulbs but are better suited where neighbours overlook your trap and a 125W
bulb could be a disturbance. This trap comes complete with a rigid collar, and flight interception baffles.
240V electrics are supplied with a
IP56 waterproof control box, with compression flanges and 10 metres of input lead and 2 metres of output lead.
