60W Actinic Robinson Moth Trap

High retention rate trap with a bulb more suited to built-up areas or use beside roads
Share |
#175263
NHBS Price: £289.99 | $459/€359 approx.

Robinson moth traps are the most popular choice among serious entomologists - a robust design with excellent retention rates. This trap is well suited to use at permanent sites (with 240V supply) left unattended overnight but can also be used in the field with a generator.

60W (2 x 30W) actinic electrics offer catch rates about 40% lower than mercury vapour bulbs but are better suited where neighbours overlook your trap and a 125W bulb could be a disturbance. This trap comes complete with a rigid collar, and flight interception baffles.

240V electrics are supplied with a IP56 waterproof control box, with compression flanges and approximately 5 metres of input lead and 1 metre of output lead.

If you're unsure which Robinson moth trap to choose or would like to know how to get the most from your trap then check out our Guide to Robinson Moth Traps.
