About this book

Language: French

While the honeybee, highly regarded for its honey production, is widely publicized, we know less of a wild species that exists, unique to Europe, and that also produces honey. Still, it faces the same problems as its breeding sisters, and is even confronted with additional challenges.

This work thus introduces the world of wild honeybees. It gives you the necessary information to locate colonies, monitor, protect, and capture a swarm to install a nest box (not a hive).

You will be able to welcome them home without having to do beekeeping: no intervention, no honey harvest ... you will leave all of it to the bees and allow them to raise themselves and face their challenges, and in the process will help to strengthen an endangered species.
