About this book
This book reviews recent advances in geology and hydrodynamics in an effort to promote increased dialogue between sedimentary geologists, geomorphologists and hydrodynamicists. It focuses initially on hydrodynamics of turbulent flow, followed by two and three dimensional flow through straight and curved channels and flow over bed topography. It provides a consideration of initial motion, sediment transport and particle sorting and examines the potential for modeling these fluid sediment interactions.
