About this book

Language: German

Human beings are descendents of apes in the same way dogs are of wolves. So why is it then that we have chosen to live with a wolf instead of an ape? What advantages did we gain by further developing alongside the socially- oriented canines and learning from them? Gunther Bloch and Elli H. Radinger are dealing with the question about how the coevolution of simians and canines, which has been ongoing for thousands of years, will develop in the future and how we can benefit from it. Taking the individual personalities of humans and dogs into consideration, how can we learn to cooperate with our dogs instead of dominating them and thus build a harmonious and happy relationship?
