About this book

This volume contains most of the papers presented at the Tenth International Conference on the Modelling, Monitoring and Management of Air Pollution. Emphasis is placed on the development of experimental and computational techniques, which can be used as tools to aid the solution and understanding of practical air pollution problems, and on topics related to health effects, such as studies of aerosols and particles. Eighty state-of-the-art contributions from researchers working around the world are featured. These are divided under the following headings: air pollution modelling; air quality management; global and regional studies; emission inventories; monitoring and laboratory studies; use and usability of remote sensing in air pollution monitoring; comparison of modelling with experiments; aerosols and particles; urban air pollution; and urban and suburban transport emissions.
