Corporate organizations' environmental management utilization of Environmental Information Systems created a number of benefits for Environmental Management in Tanzania. Despite of the benefits of Environmental Information System usage yet there were no documentation has been done so far to explain applicability of Environmental Information System. Moreover, studies showed that there were no empirical studies done on the use of and/or demands for environmental information by environmental managers were in existence. This became an interesting point for the researcher and developed a research proposal to explore applicability of Environmental Information Systems for Corporate Environmental Management in Tanzania. This book therefore, provides detailed information on the key Environmental Management functions performed at various levels of Corporate Environmental Management. The extent to which corporate organizations environmental management utilizes available Environmental Information Systems and problems hindering corporate use of Environmental Information Systems in Tanzania.
