The original (1995) Bats in Captivity by Susan Barnard is now out of print. This new set, comprising 4 volumes, is a new work with the same name.
Volume 1 covers biological and medical aspects of bats in captivity; volume 2, aspects of rehabilitation; volume 3 will cover diet & feeding and
environment & housing; and volume 4 will cover legislation and public education. Authors are from around the world, and all bat groups are covered.
Forthcoming volumes in this series will be added to this page as soon as we
become aware of them.
