The Belomo loupe's large triplet lens provides a sharp, bright, clear and undistorted view. It is the most often recommended x10 power loupe for
geologists, gemologists, macro photographers, numismatists, entomologists, and philatelists around the world.
A triplet lens is a specifically manufactured lens made out of three lenses which are knitted together. Their combination eliminates most of the optical distortion from the outer edge of the lens, giving a colour corrected image. This is the best lens technology available in a hand lens magnifier.
To correctly use a triplet hand lens you need to raise it up closely to your eye while holding the object you wish to examine within the focal range of the lens.
