  • Description
The Wildlife Society has completed a technical review concerning the biological and social issues of wild ungulate confinement. This report, prepared by a committee of experts, has the most complete and up-to-date information about the management of ungulates confined by high fences. An increasing demand for selling and hunting live wild ungulates and their products, along with a growth in captive breeding facilities, has prompted the need for this review. All of the social issues are addressed in the technical review, to guide policy and management of fenced properties.
