About this product

Please note, this can also be bought as part of an 8-disc set covering the years 1998-2007.

Every year the county of Cornwall plays host to a bewildering array of birds, with many passing through whilst on migration. Occasionally some arrive having been blown off course from far away places such as North America and eastern Europe.

We have travelled the length and breadth of the county in our quest to bring you a wide selection of the birds that visited our shores during the year. Over 100 species are represented in this edition, again presented in diary form.

We have included our coverage of the annual Scillonian III pelagic focussing on seabirds in the Western Approaches and a wide selection of views of our beautiful and unique Cornish scenery.

Highlights include:- Ring-billed Gull, Iceland and Glaucous Gull, Gyr Falcon, Blue Rock Thrush, Wilson's Petrel, Solitary Sandpiper, Temminck's Stint, Cliff Swallow, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Spectacled Warbler and Swainson's Thrush

Running time: 90 minutes. Full commentary throughout. Remastered from the original DV recording.
