New edition of this superb guide, which describes and illustrates nearly all the birds, mammals and reptiles of the Galapagos islands in a single pocket-sized book. The colour plates combine photographs (500) and illustrations (20), with text and maps on facing pages to facilitate identification.

Andy Swash is a zoologist, ecologist and accomplished photographer. During his visits to the Galapagos he obtained excellent photos of most of the resident birds, mammals and reptiles. Rob Still is an ecologist and widely travelled naturalist. The authors are partners in WildGuides, a publishing organisation to support wildlife conservation.
