All endemic species and nearly all recognizable subspecies from the Canary Islands and Madeira published for the first time on one DVD. It shows you all birds in their natural habitat on their different islands.

You will see endemic species like Blue Chaffinch, Canary islands Chat, all three Laurel Pigeons, Canary, Plain Swift and Berthelot's Pipit. Seabirds like Bulwer's, Fea's and Zino's Petrels, Cory's, Little and Great Shearwaters and migrant waders from Europe.

The Eastern Islands from the Canaries hold birds such as Houbara Bustard, Cream-coloured Courser, Black-bellied Sandgrouse and Lesser Short-toed Lark.

Also featured are recently split species such as Tenerife Goldcrest and Canary Islands Chiffchaff and soon-to be-split taxa such as Madeira Firecrest, Tenerife Robin and all four taxa of Blue Tit.

Special attention for subspecies such as Chaffinches; three from the Canaries and one from Madeira, Stone Curlew, Canary Islands Grey Shrike, Kestrel and Great Spotted Woodpecker.

A total of 70 species and subspecies in a total running time of 145 minutes, on 2 DVD's.
