Series informationHilary Bradt is the doyenne of British travel publishers. Her first book (written during a four-day journey by river barge down a Bolivian tributary of the Amazon) was published in 1973. Bradt guides provide accurate and up-to-date facts on such essentials as hotels, transport and visas, while enhancing the visitor's experience through insights into the local culture and natural history, stressing the importance of responsible travel and ecotourism. Other Bradt series are Bradt Hiking Guides, Bradt Rail Guides, Bradt Road Guides and Bradt Wildlife Guides. Forthcoming volumes in this series will be added to this page as soon as we
