British Birds is one of the leading journals for the modern birder in the Western Palearctic. The journal provides a lively forum for contributions of interest to all birdwatchers in the Western Palearctic; publishes new material on behaviour, conservation, distribution, ecology, identification, movements, status and taxonomy; embrace and encourages new ideas and research; maintain a position as the respected journal of record; and interprets good scientific research on birds for the interested non-scientist.
