Butterfly Net Bag

Having your very own butterfly net is a great way to learn about this fascinating and beautiful group of insects. Being able to safely catch specimens gives you the opportunity to both study them in much more detail and to accurately determine which species you are looking at, before you safely return them to where they came from.  

These butterfly net bags are for use with our range of frames and handles (or telescopic handles). They are available to fit frames of 35, 40, 50 or 60cm diameter and can be bought with black or white material. Net bags are manufactured from 28-gauge Terylene netting which is much more resistant to UV degradation than nylon, and the very soft thread means that it is gentle on delicate insect wings. 

Please note: The 40cm bag is also available with a longer length to aid in the retention of your specimens.
