Designed to enable identification to species level of all Dacini (Diptera: Tephritidae) of the Oriental, Pacific and Australasian regions. It also includes some coverage of the Afrotropical fauna (Mascarene Islands plus African pest spp. only). Includes valuable information on the classification and distribution of all species, plus additional details such as known hosts, pest status and selected references for the pest species. The system can also be used as an information source on dacine fruit flies as it includes a full taxonomic check list, a host database and a glossary.
