About this book

Language: Portuguese

100 species of Hesperophanini, Eburiini and Diorini are described and illustrated. After a short introduction the authors present a Map of the morphoclimatical and phytogeographical regions of Southern America. Each sub-region are describen too accordingly to Morrone (2004). They present a complete Systematical Catalogue of all the species of the studied tribes occurring in this geographical area. There are 100 pages, each one for a species, including a morphological description, a photograph, a distributional map as well as a short text on its biology, distribution and literature of each species. The book finishes with a wide list of literature and an index of contents. It is a very important work for the easier identification of the South American Cerambycidae, being a complement of the series Cerambycidae Sul-Americanos.
