An in-depth look at this internationally important wetland, located in central Kansas. One of the last remaining sizeable areas of wetland left in the United States, it is an important stopping point for hundreds of thousands of shorebirds, waterfowl and passerines, as well as many important mammal and reptile species, and like so many sites worldwide it is under threat.
