Jinny Johnson has written a number of books for children on topics ranging from dinosaurs to insects and rainsforests to deserts. She has had a lifelong passion for wildlife and is a fellow of the Zoological Society of London. She lives in London, England.

Barry Croucher is an award winning illustrator of children's books who. now works within digital illustration. Published credits of Barry Croucher include The Usborne World Atlas of Dinosaurs and Nightwatch: Nightlife in the Tropical Rain Forest.
