The monograph is devoted to the coleopteran family Elateridae, or click- beetles, playing an important role in natural and secondary habitats in Turkmenistan.The general section deals with morphology, ecology, zoogeography and lokal fauna genesis. Special section includes keys to subfamilies (5), tribes (10), genera (17) and 87 species of Turkmenistan fauna (in Russian and German), 7 species described herewith as new. Description of larvae are given for 39 species, 14 of them are given for the first time.
