About this book

Language: Chinese

Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation in China: Ecological & Human Health is based on PRECIS SRES application to build a high-resolution (50 km × 50 km) maps of China to the year 2100 under SRES A2, B2 and A1B climate scenarios and potential vegetation models of future Chinese natural temporal changes in ecosystem net primary productivity. It discusses the future of vector-borne diseases in China under conditions of climate change, changes in the law of development and the spatial and temporal distribution of selected biodiversity, nature reserves and forest fires in the southwest and other case studies, attempts at typical adaptation to climate change, and technical measures put forward in the field of ecological and human health systems to adapt to climate change. This book will be useful for research on national adaptation strategies and plans to develop supporting technology, but also help promote Chinese adaptation to climate change, and build capacity to address climate change.
