Investigates the evolution of biodiversity, adaptation and speciation across life at several canyons in Israel, characterized by sharply ecologically divided interslopes. Out of the 513 beetle species recorded here, 136 species are new to the Galilee Mountains, 19 species new to Israel, and 1 species new to science.
