Colour Atlas of Camelid Hematology

Despite the renewed interest in camelids, a limited number of books and bibliographies have been published thus far. This text will acquaint the reader with the normal hematology and the wide range of individual diseases of camelids. The hematologic features of both Old World and New World camelids--normal and diseases--can be visually identified by using this atlas. Included in A Color Atlas of Camelid Hematology are 94 full-color illustrations of camelid blood, as well as 11 tables of information for easy reference. Three leading camelid experts share their comprehensive knowledge within the pages of this atlas. Fowler is known worldwide for his expertise, and Ulrich Wernery and Renate Wernery come from the United Arab Emirates, where 12 million dromedaries reside (70 percent of the one-humped camel population of the world).
