There are 63 plant species included in this book representing the most common plant species found in local shrubland, including herbs, grasses, sedges, herbaceous and woody climbers, shrubs, small trees and trees from low shrubland, high shrubland, coastal shrubland and fire maintained shrubland. Each plant species is highlighted with distinguishable features such as leaf texture, arrangement, flowers and fruit in full colour photographs for easy identification in the field. The floral characteristics of each plant species, such habitat, flowering and seeding seasons and plant forms are listed to enrich understanding. Interesting information such as their ornamental, medicinal and industrial uses are also included.
