  • Very useful text
By Joyce 29 Oct 2014 Written for Paperback
I am an avid grower of African violets (saintpaulia). This book was recommended to me over ten years ago by a professor of plant pathology at the University of Nebraska. It has been an invaluable text which I have since recommended to many others. The summation of each disease and the affected hosts is concise. The terms describing the disease are a bit intimidating, but the glossary in the book helps a great deal. I have been able to diagnose problems quickly and to find solutions, not just for myself, but also for members of my plant society. If I lost the book today, I would be buying it again immediately.
