Provides a detailed account of the diverse rudist bivalve associations from the Cretaceous of the western margin of the Pelagonian micro-continent, now exposed in Boetia, central Greece. This thorough, largely systematic, study includes descriptions of 61 species, of Aptian to Maastrichtian age. The palaeoecology of this extinct bivalve group is also discussed, as there are palaeobiogeographical affinities of the Boetian assemblages.
