This book presents the exceptional variety and the outstanding beauty of the Cretan flora in photos as well as in text. Beneath each photo is given the scientific name of the flower, the date when the picture was taken and the place where the flower was found.
The photos include close-ups of plants as well as examples of the landscapes.
The descriptions of the excursions take us into various regions and habitats such as orchid slopes, gorges, high mountains, beaches and other places. More localities and areas for rare flowers are mentioned in an appendix.
