About this book

From the introduction:

"This Field Guide accompanies the QRA field meeting held in Devon and East Cornwall, April 12-15th, 1996. The objective of the meeting is to cover new and continuing work designed to further our knowledge of the Quaternary of Devon and Cornwall. The excursions embrace new sites and investigations as well as continuing work at sites already well known to the Quaternary community. Each site, locality, or investigation is treated as a separate chapter, consistent with other recent QRA Field Guides. There are inevitable variations in style, format, and terminology between chapters as the editors, wherever possible, have tried to respect the preferences of individual contributors."
