Reference book of dinosaur images taken entirely from the largest dinosaur art collection in the world. Privately held by Chicago resident, John Lanzendorf, this collection contains paintings by globally famous artists, bronze statuary from sulptors of unsurpassed skill, and drawings and sketches. It is supplemented by text from renowned palaeontologists who have responded to many of the Lanzendorf pieces with their own reactions to particular paintings and sculptures.

Biography
John Lanzendorf is a dinosaur art collector by avocation and a well-known hair stylist working from a salon along Chicago's famous Magnificent Mile. His collection and admittedly obsessive interest in dinosaurs are without equal. His active support of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology has been illustrated by three new Society awards intended for contributions to paleo-art.
