Biography

Maggie Bateson is a talented paper-engineer who has created many elaborate and beautiful carousel and pop-up books for children. Maggie is best known for her collaborative work with Louise Comfort on the intricate My Fairy ... carousel series for Macmillan. She has also created a pop-up version of Angelina Ballerina. Dinosaur Safari is Maggie's third book for Simon and Schuster.

Louise Forshaw discovered drawing at a young age and has rarely stopped since. Since graduating in 2008 from Newcastle College she now works from her small home studio with two teeny, tiny Jack Russells to keep her company.
