About this book

This wall chart is a concise tabular presentation of the most significant microfossils. The chart gives a visual overview of all the principal microfossil genera. It is especially intended for (micro) palaeontologists, either professionals or students, who frequently wish to search for data on the most important microfossil taxa, or need to have a quick reference for indentification of their forms. Photographs of more than 430 microfossils are displayed in microfossil groups. The organic-walled, phosphatic, calcareous and siliceous microfossils are distinguished by different light-coloured backgrounds. The time ranges are shown in horizontal coloured bars. Numbers beside each picture correspond to a legend, the statigraphical range shown below each group, and the Index. If desired, each group can be cut out or the chart can be split horizontally.
