This nature documentary explores this little-known and rugged area of Eastern Africa. It offers a broad perspective of the Ethiopian savannah and forest areas as well as the highlands, where the highest peaks soar to over 13000 feet. The area, known as the Roof of Africa, was isolated for millions of years, allowing the evolution of several colourful, endemic mammal and bird species which cannot be found anywhere else of Earth.
