About this book

This publication is a report of a meeting held in 1992 to discuss the use of farm-made feeds in Asia. It presents and discusses 11 country reviews of the topic, and nine technical papers directed at farm-made rather than commercial feeds. Emphasis is placed on the importance of farm-made aquafeeds to aquaculture in the region, and a plea is made for more attention to the needs of the small-scale farmers who could or do use farm-made feeds.
