Flight Interception Traps are the simplest form of passive collection system. They are a black wall of terylene material that is either suspended from
a branch, stretched between trees, or supported by poles. They are placed across the flight path and an insect on hitting the net falls to the ground
where a water trap or similar collector is located. The net has strong ribbon reinforcing and tie points.
