A new Egyptian Flora giving floristic treatments in the form of dichotomous keys (bracketed type). For each species a line drawing showing the habit of the plant is provided. Short diagnostic characters for the taxon at specific or infraspecific level (subspecies or variety) are followed by its life-form, habitat characteristics, and local and global distribution. Additional information includes vernacular names, economic value and conservation status.
