A vital staging-post on Eggert Peturson's journey from his early bookworks with pressed flowers and photographs of plants to his paintings is a
collection of 271 illustrations made for the field guide Icelandic Flora with Colour Illustrations, published in 1983. In this volume, Petursson's
magnificent drawings are published for the first time in their full size at A3 420 x 297 mm arranged by taxonomic order (family, genus). Each
illustration is accompanied by a botanical description from the original text. The book is published in 500 individually numbered copies, signed by
Eggert Petursson, and comes in a specially made wooden case. A real collector's item.
