This DVD introduces the captivating fulmarine petrels through video footage supported by photographs and maps. Full commentary is offered. The DVD has a menu for choice between the introductory section and each species account. A booklet is included that consolidates dacts from the DVD and adds much vital extra information. The bulk of the DVD comprises a series of video clips of the seven fulmarine species taken at sea. Some video was taken at colonies. Clips of confusion species include the sooty albatrosses, black-browned albratross, white-chinned petrel and sooty shearwater. Other clips include wandering albatrosses and Wilson's storm-petrel.

Species covered: northern giant petrel, southern giant petrel, northern fulmar, southern fulmar, cape petrel, Antarctic petrel, and snow petrel.
