Garmin GPSMAP 62sc with Camera
The GPSMAP 62sc is rugged and waterproof and features a 6.6 cm sunlight-readable colour screen and built-in worldwide basemap. With a quad helix antenna, high-sensitivity WAAS/EGNOS enabled GPS receiver and HotFix satellite prediction, the GPSMAP 62sc has unparalleled reception to locate your position quickly and precisely and maintains its GPS location even in heavy cover and deep valleys. A customisable display allows you to tailor the dashboard to show you only the details that you need. Additional maps can also be loaded to the 3.5 GB internal memory. The GPSMAP 62sc also features a 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter and supports wireless data transfer, allowing you to send routes, waypoints, markers and geocaches directly to other compatible units. The internal memory can be extended by the use of a microSD card (not included).
With this model you can capture locations and memories with a 5-megapixel autofocus digital camera. Each camera is automatically geotagged with the location of where it was taken, allowing you to navigate back to that exact spot in the future. This feature is invaluable for many types of survey work.
This great GPS unit is also available as a bundle with the GB Discoverer 1:50K Full Country Mapping software. This package provides full 1:50k scale Ordnance Survey Landranger map coverage for the whole of Great Britain and includes includes terrain contours, topo elevations, summits, paths, routable roads and geographical points. Plus, with NAVTEQ road data and points of interest, you'll get turn-by-turn directions to your destinations. The GB Discoverer comes on a microSD card and is supplied with an SD card adapter to make data transfer to your PC easier.
