This volume is concerned with mosses of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands and has its basis in Flora dels Briófits dels Països Catalans Volume 1: Molses. The study area is located in the extreme southwest of Europe and covers peninsular Spain and Portugal, Andorra and the Balearic Islands. This flora deals with 791 taxa, which represent 64% of the European moss flora. The volume contains dichotomous keys for genera and species. For each species, there are differential morphological characteristics, data on ecology, distribution and frequency. Numerous original illustrations are provided.
