However, if you do experience any difficulties, or require help with any aspect of our affiliate service, please do not hesitate to contact us at NHBS.
The minimum payment amount is £50.00. You will be paid in every month that your commission balance is at least £50.00. Most small sites get paid every few months, with larger sites getting paid every month.
You can follow our simple step by step instructions using the make product links and banners page. This page will become available to you once you have signed up as an affiliate with us.
As much, or as little as you like. We have tried to make all our options as user friendly as possible, allowing those even with only basic computer expertise to customize the links that they add to their site. We also provide continued, free support to all our affiliates.
If you have decided to change ad type, you can simply repeat steps one and two on the make a new banner or link page and then replace the new code with the old one and your new ad will appear on your website.

Alana Ecology was founded in 1997 as a specialist in wildlife and environmental monitoring equipment. On the 1st of September 2011, Alana Ecology became part of NHBS.
The transition from Alana's warehouse in Shropshire is complete and all customer service and stock are now managed from the large NHBS warehouse location in Totnes, Devon.
At the end of July 2012, we stopped using the www.alanaecology.com website and all Alana webpages are directed through to www.nhbs.com. If you placed an order on the alanaecology.com website recently, please rest assured that we have received your order, and are processing it from the NHBS warehouse.
With several thousand ecology products and over 100,000 books, it's complicated and confusing to manage two completely separate websites and keep all the information in sync. We think it's better for customers to have one up-to-date site - www.nhbs.com - with our entire product range on.
We stopped using the Alana Ecology website in July 2012, and all pages are redirected to NHBS.
You can log into the NHBS website using your email address to track the progress of all your orders. To receive a password for your NHBS account, please use this link: http://www.nhbs.com/login/forgotpass.php.
Once you have received your new password by email, you will be able to log in to change the password, and track the progress of all your Alana Ecology and NHBS orders.
We have now run out of the last copies of the most recent printed Alana Catalogue (2009). We have a new Ecology Catalogue in preparation for 2013.
Please email customer.services@nhbs.co.uk to be added to the mailing list, and we will send the new catalogue to you free of charge as soon as it becomes available.
Please remit payment for all Alana Ecology invoices billed since the 1st of September 2011 to the following bank account, and send a remittance advice to customer.services@nhbs.co.uk:

For urgent and highly secure deliveries, we can send your order by courier, airmail, air freight or by an international carrier. Please ask Customer Services if you would like more information or a quote for a particular destination. Please note that for express service someone will need to be present at your address to sign for your package. We cannot send express deliveries to PO boxes.
The NHBS Shopping Basket will calculate the Express Shipping charge where possible. In case the Express Shipping charge cannot be calculated automatically, we will advise you of the actual Express cost by email. Alternatively, if you would like a quote for express delivery before selecting this option please contact Customer Services.
All items that are in stock at the time an Express order is placed will be sent with our next dispatch. We send to all destinations Mondays to Fridays.
Orders are processed within 1 working day of receipt and we will attempt to dispatch your order as soon as possible thereafter. We hold a huge number of titles in stock so can usually dispatch orders very rapidly. However, some orders will take longer to arrive if the titles are out of stock.
All in-stock items on Express orders received by 12 noon Monday to Friday will be sent the same day.
If an out of stock book can be sourced from within the UK, it will usually arrive at our warehouse within a few days. If the supplier is based further afield, the time it takes to source the title increases accordingly. For a delivery time estimate specific to your order, please contact Customer Services.
If a title you require is out of stock, you will be informed of this by email when your order is processed. As soon as your book arrives at our warehouse, it will be dispatched and you will receive a dispatch notification via email or fax. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of dispatch.
Following the dispatch of your order, delivery times are dependent on factors such as your country of residence and shipping method.
To the UK Mainland (excludes Scottish Highlands and Islands): 1 day
To Europe: 2 - 6 days
To North America: 2 - 4 days
To the Rest of the World: 3 - 10 days
Please note that all delivery times are approximate.
When ordering goods for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance is the responsibility of the customer as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information with regard to your order with NHBS.
If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated time, contact Customer Services and we will make every effort to locate it for you.
If goods are lost in transit NHBS will make every effort to trace them and will replace them if necessary. Please note that if standard service is used instead of express service for orders abroad we cannot ensure full responsibility for loss of goods.
All orders are carefully checked and packed by our experienced and professional dispatch team. If you have special packing requirements or experience any problems receiving deliveries, please write them in the 'Comments' field of the checkout or contact Customer Services.

If an item is built to order, we clearly indicate this on the item page on www.nhbs.com. Built to order items are not usually available for immediate dispatch, but we strive to get your order to you as quickly as we can.
If you place an order for an item which is made to order, you are entering into a binding contract to purchase the item. You will not be able to cancel the order once the goods are in production, and it is not returnable or refundable unless the goods are faulty. This is because we would be extremely unlikely to be able to resell the item.
These terms and conditions regarding non-returnable items are in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, where your right to cancel does not apply to contracts for goods built to order, and/or are made to a customer’s specification.
Internet and mail order shopping are very secure methods of buying products and millions of pounds worth of goods are sold online each day. When you order online from NHBS, your bank details are encrypted so they can only by accessed from within our secure customer database.
NHBS uses the strongest and most secure, commercially available version of 256-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encryption, this is well above the industry standard 128-bit SSL used throughout e-commerce.
SSL encrypts all of your personal information, including your credit card number, name and address. This ensures that your details cannot be read as they are transferred over the Internet.
There are three visible indicators that the page (i.e. from the shopping basket onward) you are using is secure:
1) The web address will start with https:// - the ‘s’ stands for secure.
2) A padlock logo contained next to, or within the address bar of your browser, which if hovered over, or clicked on will display technical security information verifying the security of your connection.
3) The ‘Secured by Thawte’ symbol displayed at the bottom of the shopping basket also verifies the security of the connection and if clicked on will display information about the validity of our SSL encryption, which is ensured by this Thawte Digital Certificate.
Please note: NHBS will never ask for your card's PIN number, your account password or your bank details.
If you are contacted or receive an unsolicited e-mail, telephone call or letter that asks you for your password or personal banking information, disregard the request and report the communication to customer services for investigation.
If you would like to read more on the industry standard protection system ‘Secure Sockets Layer’ (SSL) which NHBS uses to make shopping online safe, click here.
If you are worried about shopping online, please contact Customer Services and we will be happy to discuss this with you further and work out a way of completing your transaction in a way which is satisfying to you.

If you are ordering by email, post, fax or telephone, we will usually return confirmation by email or via the same method as you used to contact us. You can contact Customer Services at any time to check the status of your order.
We can supply you with any book in any language, if it is in print. Please contact Customer Services with as much detail about the title you can give us, and we will do our best to find the title for you and send you a quotation. You can then decide if you want to buy the book(s) or not.

Ordering online is a fast and secure way to buy from NHBS. Once you have found an item you want, click on 'add to basket'. This will take you to the items in your shopping basket – this is where all the books you have added to your basket are collected. From here, you can alter the quantity of a title by changing the number '1' to the number you require and then clicking 'Update Basket'. You can also set some delivery options, such as our express delivery service and your delivery destination (for more information on our delivery services, click here).
To save the contents of your trolley and keep shopping for more titles, click the 'Return to Website' icon. You can later check the contents of your trolley from any part of the website by clicking the 'Shopping Basket' icon.
When you are happy with the selection of books in your shopping basket and have checked the quantities and delivery options, click the 'Go to checkout' icon. If you have ordered from NHBS before, enter your email address, account or PIN number and your NHBS password, and click the 'Log-on' icon. If you have not ordered from NHBS before, you will need to click the ‘New Customer’ icon and enter your delivery and payment details.
At the checkout, make sure that your delivery and invoice addresses are correct and choose your preferred payment method. If you want, you can also set delivery options to 'express' or 'standard' (for more information on our delivery services, click here), change the quantities of the titles in your basket and leave any comments about your order. If you change any of these details, click the 'update' icon afterwards.
When you are happy with all the details on the page, click the 'PLACE ORDER' icon (at the bottom of the page) to confirm your order. All of our customer payment data is managed on a secure server – look for the "Secured by Thawte" symbol on our check-out pages.
We will bank your cheque on receipt, not at the point of dispatch. If you wish to alter or cancel your order prior to dispatch, please contact Customer Services to arrange a refund.
Placing a Standing Order means that NHBS will send you each new volume in a series as it is published - you don't need to do anything. Your credit card will be charged when the book is dispatched. Standing Orders require a valid credit card or invoice account, and a delivery address.
Notify Standing Orders are also available. They will ensure that we notify you of new volumes published in a series in advance of publication. Notify Standing Orders require a valid email address or mailing address.
Please contact Customer Services for setting up a standing order, or for updating your credit card information.
We welcome orders from customers anywhere and can deliver books to almost all countries and regularly do so. Please check our Shipping Information help section for more details.
The only charge from NHBS is postage & packing, which is added on to the cost of your purchase at the checkout. There are no hidden charges from NHBS.
Books and maps are exempt from VAT in the UK. VAT at the standard UK rate of 20% is also included in the advertised price of DVDs, CDs, other electronic media and equipment, so there are no hidden charges from NHBS.
If you live in any of the EU member states and are registered in your own country for sales tax, you should state your sales tax number when ordering from NHBS. If you do this, we will exclude UK VAT from your bill. Your sales tax number will then be quoted on your invoice, together with our own VAT number (GB 407 4846 44) so you can declare the purchase to your authority.
If you live in the EU, but are not registered for sales tax, you will pay the advertised price for DVDs, CDs and other electronic media, which includes VAT at the standard UK rate of 20%.
If you live outside the EU, we will automatically exclude VAT from your bill for CDs, DVDs, other non-book media and equipment.
All prices listed on our website and in our catalogues are subject to change at any time. Most changes we make to the prices of books result from publishers' price changes. Other changes may be caused by variations in shipping rates and currency fluctuations.
We will always inform you of a significant change to the price of a title you have ordered from us. You will be able to change or cancel your order at this time.
We hope that you enjoy the products you have ordered from NHBS. We would like you to know that if you are dissatisfied with your items for any reason, you are very welcome to return them to us for a refund or exchange.
Please request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before returning any items ordered from NHBS for any reason.
Returns will be authorised if the goods received were damaged in transit, or are defective or incorrect. Please notify us within 14 days or receipt of any damaged, defective or incorrect goods.
NHBS will reimburse reasonable postage charge incurred by the customer in returning damaged, defective or incorrect items, and we will provide a freepost return label if you return an item from within the UK.
Customers may request a free replacement or a refund. A refund can be issued as a credit note to use against future orders, or a full cash refund. Where no preference is indicated, a credit will be forwarded to the customer.
Where NHBS exclusively distributes a title, overstock returns will be authorised up to 12 months from the date of invoice. For titles where NHBS are the non-exclusive distributor, overstocks returns will be judged on a case by case basis. In each instance please begin by contacting NHBS for a Returns Authorisation Number.
Please note that overstocks returns must be packed well and received in a re-sellable condition. NHBS reserves the right to refuse badly packed returns.
Audio, DVD, CD, video or software products that have been opened cannot be returned unless faulty.
Built-to-order items cannot be returned unless faulty.
We regret that we are unable to accept returns for DVDs if there is a region incompatibility with your DVD player, unless our description on the website is wrong.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to us for a refund. The item must arrive with us in its original condition and original packaging, or we will not be able to issue a refund.
Items can be returned to NHBS up to 7 days after receipt of goods in accordance with The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 – no reason to return needs to be given during this period.
Please note that this does not include sealed audio, DVD, video or software products that have been opened and are not deemed faulty. Built-to-order items are not returnable unless they are faulty.
Please obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before returning any item(s) ordered from NHBS. To obtain a RAN, please contact Customer Services giving the following details: customer account number, name and address; item title(s); NHBS delivery reference and date of receipt of goods.
You can unsubscribe from the Monthly Catalogue at any time by replying to the email with the subject 'unsub mc'.
You can unsubscribe from email Newsletters at any time by replying to the email with the subject 'unsub nl'. Customer Services will also unsubscribe you from any email or postal items you no longer wish to receive.
We produce a monthly email Newsletter highlighting a broad range of book titles and wildlife equipment items. In addition we produce highly relevant emails periodically that we think you will find of interest.
The last of our newspaper style catalogues was in 2004 - we very much enjoyed producing the paper catalogues but found that more and more customers wanted more regularly updated information via www.nhbs.com. There are still a wide range of paper fliers and mini-catalogues produced and orders offline can be placed by phone, email, fax or in writing. Please contact us if there is specific information you require by post.
We regularly produce thematic catalogues containing a summary of relevant titles from www.nhbs.com. These catalogues are highlighted in the 'News' column, on the right hand side of the NHBS homepage and can also be found on our Catalogues Page.
Thematic Catalogues can be sent out in hardcopy on request. These paper copies are a print-out from our website and are only available in black and white print.
In rare cases customers might receive two copies of the same email from NHBS.
It is possible that we have a duplicate customer record for you on our database. This can occur if you have made an order from us on more than one occasion with different details such as email or delivery address.
The NHBS Monthly Catalogue is a service for librarians and book buyers wanting to be kept informed of all new books (up to 400 every month) added to www.nhbs.com. It is sent by email at the beginning of each month. Recent Monthly Catalogues can be viewed here. To subscribe to Monthly catalogues please send your name in an email to subscribemc@nhbs.co.uk.
The Monthly Catalogue is available in HTML or Plain Text format. If you prefer the Plain Text version, please specify "Plain Text".
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to a Monthly Catalogue email with the subject 'unsub mc' or by contacting customer.services@nhbs.co.uk.
Due to the fairly large size of the monthly catalogue, many email servers would block it if it was sent in one part. To avoid email spam filters we have to send it in two sections.
The Advanced Catalogue Search helps you find the right item from our catalogue of more than 100000 books, DVDs and equipment. Fill out one or more of the fields. The more keywords you use in your search, the more focussed your search result will be. To search for a book by ISBN, or to use our stock codes, please use the search form at the bottom of the advanced search page.
We list out-of-print items on our website so that you know if something you are searching for is no longer available new. Out-of-print titles are not available from NHBS. However, we have partnered with AbeBooks to enable you to find used copied of out-of-print books.
If the publisher decides to reissue an out-of-print title we will update the status on our website accordingly.
When browsing by subject or viewing search results on www.nhbs.com the items are arranged by order of popularity by default. You can change the order in which they are arranged by either 'Author', 'Title' or 'Publication Date'. You can re-sort your list of books at any time.
NHBS can source any in-print title for you regardless of the subject or language. Please contact Customer Services with the book title, author, ISBN or any information you have – we will find the title for you. So, if you saw a book in a library last year and only remember part of the title, or if your colleague showed you a field-guide which you are not sure of the name of, Customer Services will help you find the title.
To find a list of books on a specific subject use the Browse by Subject links e.g. Zoology. Click on a heading for the subject you are looking for and a new page will appear, which has a list of sub-headings. Again, click the sub-heading for the subject you would like to browse – our categories continue in this way creating an increasingly specific selection, e.g. to browse to Bats you would follow the route Zoology->Mammals->Bats(Chiroptera).
Every version of every publication listed by NHBS is assigned a unique stock number. This number appears on the title information pages of our website preceded by a # symbol. For titles which have been published in more than one version (e.g. a hardback and a paperback), a different stock number is assigned to each version to distinguish between them. You can quote NHBS stock numbers when ordering.
To search for a book by our stock number, please use the search form at the bottom of the advanced search page.
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is the international standard method of identifying a book. Every version of every book is given a unique ISBN by its publisher which allows it to be identified. For titles which have been published in more than one version (e.g. a hardback and a paperback), a different ISBN is given to each version to distinguish between them.
On January 1st 2007, ISBNs were increased in length from 10 digits to 13 digits in order to expand the numbering capacity of the ISBN system and overcome numbering shortages in certain areas of the world. As such, ISBN-13 has now succeeded ISBN-10.
NHBS show ISBN-13 on our website’s title information pages for books published in or after 2007, otherwise ISBN-10 is shown. However an ISBN-13 search can be performed for any book and either ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 can be quoted in correspondence with us.
If you are having trouble locating any product, please contact Customer Services - we will be happy to help.

The NHBS Biblio-Blog is a way for us to tell you about the books and stories which are really having an impact at the NHBS office.
We hope that the blog is much more than this though. It is also a way for anybody who visits the NHBS website to leave their opinions or thoughts. In this sense, it is a place for people who come to the NHBS website because of a shared interest in science, wildlife and ecology to start a forum on a topic which interests them.
At any time, you can visit the NHBS Blog pages from the NHBS website by clicking on the Biblio-Blog link which is always located in the banner at the top of the page.
The most recent entry into the blog also appears automatically at the bottom of the NHBS index page, so you can check to see if there is a new entry every time you visit our website.
You can also read a blog entry about a book from its title information page. If a blog entry has been written about a book which interests you, a link will appear at the bottom of the book’s description saying ‘For more information and opinions, see this book’s Biblio-Blog’. Click this link to be redirected to the title’s blog entry and read what people have said about it.
The NHBS Biblio-Blog gives you the option of subscribing so you can receive a notification in your internet browser when a new item is posted. To subscribe, please click the Entries (RSS) or Comments (RSS) links on the right hand side of the Biblio-Blog main page and then click ‘subscribe to this feed’.

a. Any contract for purchases made through this website will be with NHBS Ltd, whose registered office is situated at: 2-3 Wills Road, Totnes, Devon, United Kingdom, TQ9 5XN. Company registration number 1875194.
b. On receipt of your online order, either with valid credit card details or using your NHBS credit account, the contract is considered formed. Payment is not taken until the point of dispatch of your goods from our warehouse. An automatic confirmation that your order has been received will be sent to you at the e-mail address you provide on the online registration form. When your order reaches our internal system, a full acknowledgement of order will be sent by email detailing prices and estimated fulfilment times (NHBS does not hold stock of every item advertised as in print on its website). When each dispatch is made, a notification e-mail will be sent. NHBS’ acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms.
c. NHBS is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. NHBS cannot guarantee to supply any advertised item since, if stock is not already held, it may turn out to be unavailable from the publisher.
Withdrawal by you from the contract
If you are an individual and are not buying goods on behalf of a business, there are certain circumstances in which you may withdraw from the contract and these are set out here. This right to withdraw does not apply to business buyers.
a. You may withdraw from this contract by notifying NHBS at any time that goods as yet undispatched are not required or, if you have already received the goods, by returning them within seven days of receipt. You do not need to give NHBS any reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty.
b. The only circumstances in which you cannot withdraw your order is where you have taken the goods you have ordered out of the sealed package they are in e.g. DVDs etc. (this does not apply if the goods turned out to be faulty), or have caused damage to the goods beyond a condition in which they could be resold.
c. To withdraw your order after receipt of goods, you must notify NHBS via the process stated in the Returning Items area of our Help section on this website. To cancel your undispatched order, simply contact NHBS Customer Services.
d. If goods are to be returned, any sum debited by NHBS from your credit card will be re-credited to your account on receipt of the goods by NHBS.
Pricing
All prices shown in NHBS' website and in email or print catalogues and other NHBS promotional materials are in £=GBP=Pounds Sterling. In some places approximate US$ and Euro equivalents are displayed, for guidance only: goods will always be dispatched and charged at the sterling price. The $/€ exchange rate on the date of dispatch may vary from that used to calculate the equivalent. Prices are closely monitored and reviewed on a regular basis, using data obtained from suppliers, and from other industry sources. However, price increases by publishers, exchange rate fluctuations and other unpredictable factors prevent us from being able to guarantee supply at announced prices. Prices of all items described in NHBS' website are therefore subject to change without notice.
Price increases and orders
Should prices for items ordered increase, for customers paying in advance by cheque or bank transfer, any difference between the amount paid and the amount due will be billed as a supplementary amount due on completion of order. If you pay by credit or charge card we will charge your card for the full amount due (including any price increases) as dispatches are made. We normally debit your card for the full shipping cost of your order with the first dispatch (higher value overseas orders are charged a percentage with each dispatch). NHBS reserves the right to debit credit cards in settlement or part-settlement of outstanding accounts. If you are using an NHBS credit account, we will bill you for the full amount due (including any price increases) as dispatches are made.
NHBS Credit Notes
If you pay in advance by cheque or bank transfer, and goods which you order have become unavailable, we will notify you of the reason for non-supply (e.g. title out of print, publication cancelled) and at the same time will issue you with an NHBS Credit Note to the value of unavailable goods. NHBS Credit Notes will also be issued where the decrease in the price of an item results in credit in your favour. NHBS Credit Notes may be used as advance payment for a new order, in settlement of an outstanding account or returned to NHBS at any time for a full cash refund. NHBS reserves the right to use NHBS Credit Notes in settlement or part-settlement of outstanding accounts.
Availability
Every effort is made to provide accurate information on the availability of all items listed on nhbs.com, in emails, catalogues or other promotional material. Where an item is known to be out of print, this is stated; publication and release dates provided to us by publishers are also given, and are updated whenever possible. However, it is an inescapable part of the book business that titles suddenly go out of print, or that titles due for publication are sometimes delayed for considerable periods of time. These are matters outside our control, and we cannot therefore guarantee the availability of any item listed on nhbs.com.
Proformas and quotations
We know that budgetary and other financial considerations make it imperative for some customers to receive proforma invoices or quotations before proceeding to purchase, and we are therefore pleased to provide this documentation, if requested.
But because of the difficulties inherent in predicting prices, particularly for forthcoming or temporarily unavailable items, we cannot guarantee to supply items at the prices stated in our proformas and quotations. If a customer accepts our proforma or quotation and proceeds to order, we will bill any additional amounts arising from price increases on completion of the order.
Competitive tendering and supply contracts
In some cases, libraries and other organisations need to acquire materials as part of a contractual or competitive tendering process involving governmental or donor funds. In these instances NHBS is always interested in being invited to participate in the tender, and may be prepared to waive our standard conditions of sale in favour of the rules of the tender process. If you would like NHBS to tender, please address all communications to the Tenders Department, enclosing all relevant documentation. Tenders are not contractually binding if the tender documents have not been signed by an authorised NHBS signatory.
Customs charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that NHBS has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. NHBS recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.
Liability
a. If the goods NHBS delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, NHBS shall have no liability to you unless you notify NHBS within fourteen working days of the delivery of goods in question.
b. If the dispatch of your order by NHBS is delayed or if, once dispatched, it is delayed or lost in transit, NHBS will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. NHBS shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation for indirect or consequential loss or damage. Once satisfied that goods have been irrecoverably lost in transit, NHBS will take steps to provide replacements.
c. NHBS shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained or incurred by the customer or any third party resulting from any fault in the products supplied.
d. Nothing in this condition is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit NHBS liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
Nothing in this contract creates any right which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract.
Force majeure
NHBS shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Complaints
NHBS operate a complaints handling procedure which is used to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. If you have a complaint, please contact NHBS Customer Services.
Governing Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Entire agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the current NHBS website prices, delivery details and contact details set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by NHBS. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of NHBS. In particular nothing said by any member of staff on behalf of NHBS should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by NHBS. NHBS shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
