In addition to a systematic list of birds seen in 1995, and the usual reports on bird ringing and waterfowl counts during the year, there are also: first papers on Brown Booby, Black Redstart, Manchurian Reed Warbler, Brown-chested Flycatcher, Black headed Bunting and Mew Gull, the latter also a first for mainland Asia, a major 50-page paper on the forest birds of Southeast China, and papers on the status of Spot-billed Ducks and Black Kites in Hong Kong, amongst others.
