This sumptuous large format book is a triumph of the nature photographers' art. Virtually every page displays hummingbird life, in striking and interesting close-up. The print quality is excellent. Over 110 species are illustrated, plus many subspecies. Although the book is about Colombian hummingbirds, it depicts over 60% of the Ecuadorian species, close to 70% of those found in Venezuela and 50% of Panamanian species.
