One hundred new species of Epidendrum are proposed. Epidendrum is one of the most diverse and widespread orchid genera in Tropical America. Species are described from Florida in the United States to the Andes in Ecuador and Peru, as well as the Antilles, Mexico, Central America and Brazil. Each species is illustrated by analytical drawing, most prepared from live plants and in all cases showing the structure that permit the recognition of the species. Complete information on the type collection, and detailed morphological description, distribution, flowering time and recognition are given.
