Language: Chinese with scientific nomenclature

Based on 15 years inventories on wood-decaying fungi in China by the author, 140 wood-decaying species are recorded on stored wood or structural timber in this book. Among them 29 species cause a brown rot, and they are most growth on coniferous wood, while 111 species cause a white rot, and they are commonly on both hardwood and softwood.

In this monograph, a full description for each species is given based on the studies of the samples from China. All the species are illustrated with color photos, besides the description and photo, hosts and growing environment of each species are supplied.
