This interactive multimedia DVD ROM, compiled from authorative sources, presents an overview of the entire flora of the British Isles. It encompasses more than 3500 taxa and includes all natives, all naturalized plants, all crop plants and all recurrent casuals. Full descriptions and identification keys from the second edition of Stace's New Flora of the British Isles (1997) have been incorporated and updated to the present state of the art. This digital flora is illustrated with some 8500 unique colour slides and drawings to facilitate quick and reliable identification. The technical terms in the text are hyperlinked to an extensive glossary to provide an immediate explanation.
