Report to the Standing Committee of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats which discusses the issues raised by the introduction and re-introduction of non-native organisms into the environment. Left uncontrolled such activity can be one of the major causes of the loss of many flora and fauna species.
