The Ranger Capio Moth Trap is ideal for expedition use, made of lightweight, fine mesh supported by metal rods this highly portable trap folds flat
for travel and storage. It can be set up to run on either mains or generator powered mercury vapour electrics or actinic bulbs, or battery (12V)
powered actinics.
This collapsible fabric trap has a body shaped for stability and good wind resistance. The collapsible central cone is carefully shaped for efficient capture. A large UV resistant rainshield which is vital for rain protection of Mercury Vapour bulbs is included. The trap comes packed in a handy carry-bag.
Features include;
* Self-supporting and can be hung or ground anchored.
* Quick assembly / dismantling of body and cone.
* Wide double slider zip provides access to trapped moths whilst the light is running.
* Compact size: trap base is approximately 41cm square.
* Collapses to approximately 2cm thickness for storage and transport.
* Weight including carry-bag and rain shield is approximately 1.5kg.
The Ranger Capio can support the following bulbs;
* mercury vapour bulbs
* actinic tubes (with the addition of a steady bar)
* actinic rings
* Heath trap style vane units
