Equipment | £194.99 | approx. $386/€249

#176074
Ideal for expedition use: made of lightweight, fine mesh supported by metal rods these highly portable traps fold flat for travel and storage. This set up includes actinic electrics for use with a 12V battery (not included) - some fine-tuning of the set-up will be required depending on how you intend to use this trap. This trap could also be run with mains or generator power Mercury Vapour or Actinic electrics and bulbs (not included).

This collapsible fabric trap has a body shaped for stability and good wind resistance, a collapsible central cone which is carefully shaped for efficient capture.

For all lights, trapping efficiency may be improved by restricting the exit area at the base of the cone, using the accessory cone extender, so reducing moth escape.

This set of moth trap electrics is for use with 12V batteries at field sites or on expedition. They are supplied with a IP56 waterproof control box, with compression flanges, 1m of input lead and 1m of output lead.

These electrics are suitable for use in a wide variety of other traps either vertically or horizontally (with a little modification in some cases).
