This superlight trap is designed for overseas travel and expedition use requiring hiking in to sampling sites. It also offers a very affordable introduction to moth trapping.
Made of lightweight, fine mesh supported by metal rods these highly portable traps fold flat for travel and storage. They can be set up to run on either mains or generator powered mercury vapour electrics or actinic bulbs, or battery (12V) powered actinics.
This collapsible fabric trap has a body shaped for stability and good wind resistance with a collapsible central cone which is carefully shaped for efficient capture.
